Rotarians Hear Scout Report

Ralph Brownscombe, Rotary Club committeeman for Boy Scout Troop 85, told members of the club at the luncheon Tuesday noon something of the progress and work of the troop here. The troop, which is sponsored by Rotary, is coming along in fine shape under the leadership of Scoutsmaster Allan Miller and his executive committee composed of Floyd Huddleston, Gilbert Elliott, Louis Castellucci, Walter Fuller and Louis Criswell.

Brownscombe said that an active program has been worked out for this season and that all meetings of the troop are interesting and well attended.
He also announced that this annual dinner meeting of the Yosemite Area Council would be held tonight, Friday, in Turlock, and urged all Rotary members to attend.

The high school football dinner, annually sponsored by the Rotary Club for all members of the team, will be definitely scheduled within the next few days, according to an announcement by R. Lindemann, Rotary president. The dinner, originally scheduled soon after close of the season, has suffered a series of postponements due to inability to secure the desired program.
