Lions, Rotarians in Bowling Tourney

The Los Banos Lions and Rotary Clubs will play the first three games of a six-game tournament at the Pacheco Bowl Sunday evening, starting at 7:30. Each club will play 15 men in three 5-man teams; all scores to be net. Players are limited to members of each club.

The second half of the tournament will be played at the local alleys on Sunday, May 6.

The tournament is an annual affair between the clubs, with the losers hosting the winners at a steak dinner afterward. Last year the Rotarians lost the tournament by 13 pins.

The tournament features more horseplay and fun than actual bowling technique, and each club has appointed a Chief Heckler same being Anthony LoBue for the Lions and Frank Peluso for the Rotarians.
