Grammar School Band Entertains Rotary In Special Concert

Members of the Los Banos Rotary Club and their wives were guests of Rotarian R. M. Miano Tuesday at a very special band concert presented by Director Robert Arnoldi and the Elementary School Band. The special entertainment was a surprise feature of the noon luncheon, which featured a fried chicken menu, served at Recreation Hall. After the luncheon, the Rotary group boarded two school district buses and were taken to the school, where the band and upper grade students were already assembled in the auditorium.

In a precious performance of musical talent the band moved through a number of popular selections and marches that well merited the enthusiastic applause of their guests. Miano, in a word of appreciation to the band members and school personnel who had assisted in the presentation, stated the group is one of the finest bands ever to represent the school, a statement in which all guests heartily agreed.

A touch of Valentine's Day was added as the group entered the auditorium, each guest being presented with a red and white Valentine medallion.
