Father Copeland To Address Rotarians
The Reverend Father Raymond Copeland, S. J. of San Francisco, will address the local Rotary club at the club luncheon next Tuesday, Oct. 21, on the subject of "World Brotherhood."
Father Copeland is well known in Los Banos, having visited here frequently and as a guest speaker at many local gatherings. He is an outstanding lecturer and professor of history and theology at the University of San Francisco. Recently he served as a delegate to the conference on Asiatic Affairs, and earlier was a delegate at the Church Union meeting held in New York City, where people of all religions and race united in a common endeavor to combat the forces that are endeavoring to incite conflict and war.
Father Copeland's appearance is being arranged by Manuel Calderon as program chairman for the day.
